Celebrating 20 years of style at this years MBFW and what a week it was. Australian designers have come along way in the last 20 years, they are now brands that are highly sort after overseas and at home. Australia has become one of the hottest fashion destinations in world over the last few years. Its hard to go into fashion store in any corner of the world and not find an Australian designers clothes hanging on the racks.
The week kicked off with a stellar show from Kym Ellery, her designs are flawless catering to women with a very chic, sleek & minimalist style. As the week went on you see what trends were starting for spring, usual white is a big winner. Crisp clean white outfits flew down the runway from almost every designer, but with each one creating their own unique take on the trend. By Johnny was my favourite, I love the edginess & raw monochrome designs, completely different from all the others we saw this week.
